Magshimim: Medura (campfire)!

As Thursday was winding down, the Magshimim chanichim (campers) drew close around the medura after dinner.  There were smiles, laughter, and dedicated efforts to start the fire after a rainy afternoon.  Success!

The boisterous shmoozing and laughter were quieted, to spend a few minutes learning the Edah (division) song, an original hit, in Ivrit (Hebrew) of course! The Edah Song is famous for bringing all of the chanichim in their own edah closer together, and to share in the ruach (spirit) of singing together.   The madrichim did an amazing job of getting the fire started and teaching the song — all at the same time!
