Meet Kishroniyah Leader Sara Sapire!

Camp Ramah in New England is thrilled to announce
the return of KISHRONIYAH for all SECOND-SESSION 2010 Tzad Bet (B-Side) campers! Kishroniyah comes from the Hebrew word
Kishron, or “expert.” We have
invited specialists in a wide variety of fields to join us at camp to run
intensive multi-day programs for our SECOND-SESSION Tzad Bet campers.
Sara
Sapire will be running a Silk-Screening workshop. Sara majored in art at Yale. After graduation in 1994, she designed textiles
as a Fulbright Scholar in Florence, Italy.
She went on to complete a Masters of Art at Cornell University where she
designed and constructed a tent made from her printed fabric and paintings.
Sara has been designing custom hand-painted Ketubahs over the past 9
years.
works in a variety of mediums, including oil paint, watercolor, pen and ink,
and silkscreen printing. She enjoys
painting landscapes and portraits in addition to her commissioned pieces.
