Meet the Bensteins

Ma’ayan, Nadav, and Joel Benstein are all at Palmer this summer.  They live in Beit Shemesh, Israel.  Ma’ayan is a madricha (counselor) in adat-haMagshimim; she has recently completed 3 1/2 years of Tzahal, serving in Hail Ha’avir (Air Force).  Nadav is a chanich (camper).  Joel is Rosh Maintenance, and Abba of Ma’ayan and Nadav.  One interesting fact about maintenance: every single trashcan on this entire 100-acre camp is emptied twice every day during camp.  Another interesting fact about tzevet (staff) maintenance: they work extremely hard around the clock to maintain this large campus with multiple buildings.  Throughout it all, Joel maintains his smile.
