Nivonim: New York Trip Day 2 Part I

This morning we woke up in New York City!  After joining morning minyan with Shaarei Zedek, we ate a quick breakfast and enjoyed walking down Broadway in the cool summer breeze to JTS (Jewish Theological Seminary). 

Once there, we were led on tours by our very own madrichim/counselors David and Sara Miriam. 

I found out that David does not schedule classes on Wednesdays during lunch because of Meat Days!  We then walked over to the Columbia University and we hung out on the steps of the library, or as David called it, the “Urban Beach.”

We then walked over to Goldsmith Hall, a JTS dormitory, and met with the List College Dean of Admissions, Missy Present. After Missy's presentation we had a delicious pizza lunch before walking to the subway for the next part of our day…
