Opening Day testing APP needed for all campers

Shalom Ramah Families,

All campers will be tested for COVID upon arrival to camp. To expedite this testing process, we need for all parents to follow the directions in this email to register your camper via the NAVICA app. You can download the NAVICA app on your phone or via the NAVICA website. Please use our camp address, 39 Bennett St. Palmer, MA 01069, as your camper’s address. 

The instructions below are for all campers – whether being dropped off or arriving by plane. 

If you have any problems installing the app (it should take 3-4 minutes), please click here for Step by Step Directions. 

If you are driving your child to camp: please either have the app open or print out the barcode for each of your campers to show the staff when they come to your car.  

If your child is flying to camp: Please print out the barcode and send it with your child in their pocket or backpack.

NAVICA App:

  1. Download the NAVICA app on your iPhone or Android device and create an account. Look for the blue icon.
  2. Open the NAVICA app and select the Create Account button. Then, review and agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
  3. Enter an email address in the field provided and select the Send Code button. A verification code will be sent to that email address.
  4. Obtain the Verification Code sent to your email address and enter it into the field provided. Then, select the Verify Code button. Or, if you need a new code, select the Send New Code button.
  5. Create an account password utilizing the password guidelines listed. Select the Set Password Button.
  6. After setting a password, account setup requires additional personal information to be provided to Create Your Profile. Select the Enter Manually button to begin creating your profile.
  7. Complete the profile details FOR YOUR FIRST CAMPER and select Next.
  8. Complete the Address details: Please use the camp address- 39 Bennett St, Palmer, MA 01069  select Continue.
  9. Enter the Additional Details (for Participant Type Select ALL OTHER.) Then select Create Account.
  10. Account Setup is now complete. Select the Continue button to proceed to the App landing page.
  11. If you have additional children to set up accounts for, please continue to Step 12 below
  12. Open the Account and Settings page by selecting the icon in the upper right hand corner
  13. On the Account and Settings page select Managed Profiles.
  14. Select Create Managed Profile and then select Add a Managed Profile.
  15. Select YES to agree to the Managed Profile Agreement.
  16. Complete the Basic Details and select Continue.
  17. Complete the Address details: PLEASE ENTER THE camp address – 39 Bennett St, Palmer MA 01069  select Continue.
  18. Enter the Additional Details (for Participant Type Select ALL OTHER.) Then select Create Account.
  19. Select Done for Now on the Profile Created confirmation screen.
  20. Repeat steps 12-19 for each additional camper.
  21. At camper drop off, please have your NAVICA App pulled up so we can scan your Camper’s QR Code for Testing.

NAVICA Website:

  1.  Visit https://www.mynavica.abbott/
  2. Select Create an Account.
  3. Review and agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
  4. Enter an email address in the field provided and select the Send Code button. A verification code will be sent to that email address.
  5. Obtain the Verification Code sent to your email address and enter it into the field provided. Then, select the Verify Code button. Or, if you need a new code, select the Send New Code button.
  6. Create an account password utilizing the password guidelines listed. Select the Set Password Button.
  7. After setting a password, account setup requires additional personal information to be provided to Create Your Profile.
  8. Enter the information requested on the Create Your Profile  screen  FOR YOUR FIRST CAMPER and select NEXT.
  9. Complete the Address details: PLEASE ENTER THE ADDRESS FOR CAMP RAMAH 39 Bennett St. Palmer MA 01069. Click Continue.
  10. Enter the Additional Details (for Participant Type Select ALL OTHER.) Then select Create Account.
  11. If you have additional children to set up accounts for, please continue to Step 12 below.
  12. Select +Add a Managed Profile, located on the right side of the screen
  13. Press Continue to Agree to the Managed Profile Agreement.
  14. Complete the Basic Details and select Continue.
  15. Complete the Address details: PLEASE ENTER THE ADDRESS FOR CAMP RAMAH – 39 Bennett St, Palmer MA 01069. Click Continue.
  16. Enter the Additional Details (for Participant Type Select ALL OTHER.) Then select Create Managed Profile.
  17. Repeat steps 12-16 for each additional camper.
  18. At the top right corner of your screen select Print Options and then Select Print All NAVICA IDs
  19. Please bring the printed NAVICA IDs with you for camper drop off.
