Shabbat Bogrim!

This past Shabbat was Shabbat Bogrim, where our edah had the opportunity to bring in Shabbat for the whole camp. We performed the dance, “Zodiac” and sang the song, “Inyan shel zman” (“Matter of Time”). Bogrim also led the camp in Kabbalat Shabbat and Maariv, as well as all of the blessings for the candles, kiddish, and motzi. Our leaders did a beautiful job, and Bogrim spent Shabbat in the peaceful spirit of our song, which tells us, “kach oto le’at et hazman/ha’olam od yechake bachutz” (take your time slowly/ the world will still be waiting outside)!
