United States of Ilanot

For our first Yom Meyuchad (Special Day), we celebrated the upcoming Fourth of July with “Yom United States of Ilanot.” Tzrifim (bunks) developed their own flags and national anthems, and experienced the power of strong and independent states coming together to form a larger national (or in our case, edah-wide) identity.

In the afternoon, kvutzot (groups) went on a trip around the US, where they participated in activities relevant to the history, sites and attractions of each city they visited – making sure to get their IDs stamped from each destination along the way!
