Commemorating 300 Days
Today sadly marks 300 days since October 7th. Here at Camp Ramah, the hostages, the soldiers in the IDF, and all our friends and family in Israel are always on our minds and in our hearts.
After Aruchat Boker (breakfast) today, we held a short tekes (ceremony) to commemorate this moment, with words and with shira (song).
We encouraged our campers and staff to wear white today, with yellow ribbons and stickers/tape marking “300”.
On Tzad Bet, during the ceremony, we read the name of every hostage remaining in captivity.
See above for footage of our Tzad Bet ceremony, and see below for footage from our shorter Tzad Aleph ceremony.
We pray for peace.
