Ten For ROO Second Session Week Two!
On this week’s Ten for ROO video edition, Rabbi Gelb and Josh visit many of our incredible Tzad Bet Kishroniyah programs, as well as many of our Tzad Aleph Yom Meyuchad programs!
Take a look at this taste of the many amazing programs that happen every day here at camp!!
Kishroniyah is one of our centerpiece programs for our Tzad Bet (B-Side) chanichim/ot (campers). Kishroniyah comes from the Hebrew word kishron, which means skill. For one week each summer, we invite an array of high-level specialists into camp to run intense special programs for our older campers. Machon and Nivonim have 12 hours of Kishroniyah from Sunday-to-Wednesday, and Magshimim and Bogrim have 8 hours of Kishroniyah from Wednesday-to-Friday.
Most Wednesdays, our madrichim/ot (counselors) run a Yom Meyuchad (special day) for their chanichim/ot (campers) — a special full-day or half-day themed program, packed full of silly fun!
