Visiting Educator Rabbi Miriam Lichtenfeld: Magshimim & Tefillin

Visiting Educator Rabbi Miriam Lichtenfeld engaged these chanichim (campers) of adat-haMagshimim in a discussion about Tefillin.  Many of these chanichim have already celebrated their Bar or Bat Mitzva, and for others, their celebration is imminent.  Part of the discussion centered around the obligatory nature of Tefillin, and also whether girls and boys are equally obligated.  The chanichim had strong opinions on this matter, which were expressed clearly and discussed by their peers.
