Limud (Education): Opening Day Peulot!

These opening day peulot (activities) were creative and fun, and of course, in Ivrit (Hebrew)! Under the auspices of the Limud (Education) Department, these chanichim (campers) made large, colorful nameplates for their bunkbeds, using their names in Ivrit as well as a short descriptive phrase.  The Tzevet Limud (education staff), from Israel, guided the chanichim in this project (silly photo, above; and below).

These gan members had a great time learning and singing the song “Eretz Yisrael Sheli”, and then building, painting and decorating a bayit (home) in Israel.
