As we reach the end of kayitz 2026, our madrichim/ot (counselors) across camp are finding time for all sorts of special fun peulot tzrif (bunk activities) and peulot edah (division activities) to help make the last week of the kayitz extra special! Here’s just a tiny peek at some of the fun happening all across camp in these final days of the kayitz:

Kochavim — For their sneakout, tzrif 9 hiked to the treehouse and spent the night sleeping there. The chanichim and madrichim had an amazing time and talked about it for days afterwards!

Ilanot — We had a great 100, 200, 300 Peulat Edah game with questions and challenges.  There were questions about people from the edah, shirah learning with Amichai Margolis and all sorts of fun challenges. The chanichim were sorted into four groups and had to answer the questions, learn the shirah and do the challenges in order to get nekudot (points) for their groups. The kids had great time and enjoyed it a lot!

Solelim — The madrichim of tzrif 29 taught their chanichim a dance to a Justin Bieber song that they all got really into and have been practicing every night since, and they’ll be performing it for the entire edah at the end of the session!

Shoafim — Tzrif 47 continued their deep dive into the American Revolution with a fun and challenging trivia game, and many of the kids memorized a chunk of the Constitution!

Amitzim — This week we had Amitzim Astronauts! We had a moon walk race, and a Saturn ring toss with hula hoops! It was so much fun, and everyone had such a great time!

Magshimim — Tzrif 68 ran a competitive game of shoe golf! Each medurah (campfire) pit was a hole, your sneaker was your driver, and your flip flop was your putter. AND, the shoes were also the ball.

Bogrim — Tzrif 70 had a peulat tzrif were they all made gorgeous paper chains and decorated their tzrif with them. Their tzrif now looks so beautiful for the end of the machzor (session)!

Machon — During our last Mah Ramah perek, the Machon campers gathered together and reflected on their summers at camp, and how they’ve grown, and they looked ahead to the leadership opportunities they will take on next summer in Nivonim!

Nivonim — Nivonim had an awesome late night harga’ah as an edah outside in the k’far, in which Rosh Shira Amichai Margolis came and sang for them and told them stories about his experience as a chanich at Ramah. It was a very special, beautiful evening peulah!
