Yom Tzrif!

A group of smiling teens stands under a large outdoor tent, showing their blue paint-covered hands. They are dressed casually and appear to be enjoying a creative group activity on a sunny day.

Today was a special Yom Tzrif — Bunk Day!  All of our mumchim (adult specialists), Rashei Edot, and other senior team members around camp planned an array of fun, special peulot (programs) all day today!  Tzrifim got to go around by bunk, with their madrichim, to these special peulot together.  So campers not only got to experience an array of awesome, special programs, but they also got to have extra fun bonding time with their tzrif-mates and counselors!!  It was truly a special day.

Everywhere you looked around camp, there was a tzrif doing something super fun!

And this is just the tip of the iceberg!!  Tzrifim also did camp bowling, cookie-making, improv & theater games, macrame wall art, competitive cup stacking, spa day experience, monster pom-pom making, Taylor Swift karaoke, tennis-baseball, clay creations, they got time on our ropes course, and so much more.

Our Director of Operations Simon Luxemburg gave kids a tour of little-used mekomot (locations) at camp, a fun deep dive into the nooks and crannies of our beautiful facility.  I played Snack Battleship, in which kids competed in a giant Battleship board-game, trying to sink convoys carrying candy (which they then got to eat).

It was an incredible day at camp, and surely a highlight of the kayitz!
