FAQs for Volunteers

Who is eligible to volunteer?

We welcome volunteers who are 17-99 years old.

What types of volunteers are you looking for?

Counselors, doctors, therapists, educators, specialists (artists, sports, ropes), and rabbis/cantors.

What is the time commitment?

  • 1 or 2 pre-camp virtual sessions
  • The weekend itself – April 11-14, 2024
  • 1 post-camp virtual debrief or survey

We are ideally looking for staff who can arrive in Palmer, MA on Thursday evening, April 11, and stay through Sunday afternoon April 14.  We recognize this timing may not work for everyone and will be happy to discuss on an individual basis.

Will I be reimbursed for travel expenses?

Yes.  While the weekend will be staffed with volunteers, we do not expect you to pay for travel out of your own pocket.  All travel expenses must be pre-approved.
